How often do you wonder if your grill, bath water, light bulbs, car engine or other things are still hot

or at the correct temperature you need?  Do you like to put your bare hand on a potentially hot surface to check?  Or how about holding a thermometer near something still radiating heat?



With this Infrared Digital Thermometer it is easy and safe to check the temperature of nearly any item with little to no risk to our personal safety.



I tried it on my cooked food to see if the external temp was what it should be.  I tried it with my husband's grill to see if the thermostat was correct (he has some hot spots and some cool spots), and also tried it out on my kiddos to see what their body temperatures read (works pretty well - all are healthy and normal so far).



I was pretty impressed with the amount and variety of items I can use an infrared thermometer for.  I really wasn't sure what to do with it for this review until I started doing some research and playing around with it.  It is definitely something I will continue using frequently and keep on hand to keep myself and my family safe from burns.

My Review:

ATTITUDE is a great place for Eco Friendly products at discount prices.  A website where the member can purchase products for the home and family that are made without all the harsh chemicals that many name brand companies add to their products.  From Dish Soap to Shower Cleaner, Laundry detergent to Shampoo and Sunscreen, ATTITUDE has items that are made safer for the whole family.

I was given the new 40% off code to get the prime membership and codes to get a couple products free for this review.  I chose the Dish Soap, Shower Cleaner and Fruit and Veggie Wash.

 

The Shower cleaner is ok, but doesn't work very well on stains or hard water spots but is great for after shower spray down and wipe to keep clean in between deep cleaning.



The Fruit and Veggie Wash is my favorite so far.  It is something that I have wanted to try for a while and love how easy it is to spray on fresh garden produce then rinse off to clean away dirt and bugs before eating.  I know that it is safe to use - safer than soap and water - and will cleanse my fruit and veggies before eating.



The dish soap is fine, works well but with less lather than I am used to.  Not a big deal though as it seems to get the dishes just as clean as my store bought brand.

So for those who prefer to use Eco Friendly, safer products with less chemicals - ATTITUDE is a great place to get what the family needs.

My Review:

With a house full of people and a dog (and don't forget those dust bunnies too) it is not unheard of for at least one bathroom to smell not so pleasant at least once a day.  So finding something that takes the odor away without adding artificial chemicals and scents to just mask the smell would be a wonderful thing for my home!



Unfortunately I am sensitive to and do not tolerate the smell of pine or cloves - and Fresh Wave Spray and Crystal Gel both have Pine and Clove scents.  So after the first spray of Fresh Wave in my bathroom after a particularly yucky smell arrived courtesy of one of my children, I used the Fresh Wave Spray anyway as a good reviewer will to see if it truly removed the odor.



I can honestly say that when I was able to return to the bathroom several minutes later the nasty smell was gone, but the scent of pine and cloves did linger in the air.  For most people that would be a great improvement - but not for me.  So, I passed on the Crystal Gel to another reviewer to get a second opinion - can't just take my word since I have pine/clove issues - LOL

I have found that it does add a refreshing scent to the air and does eliminate
odors that may not be wanted in the room. It has a spicy scent when first opened
but then adds a scent of pine to the room. I would recommend this for anyone
that wants a scent that reminds you of the woods or the kitchen after someone
has cooked in it.  I really like how it freshens up the room and since I do like the smell of Pine - it is a pleasant fragrance for my home.  When first opened the scent was way too strong, but after about 10 to 15 minutes it was much less potent. My only negative would be that for those of us on a budget this product is a bit pricey compared to store bought cheaper items that do the same thing.

{Review} Jewelry in Candles from Candle Pizzaz

Many have how heard of the wonderful candles and wax melts that can be purchased that have a little hidden piece of jewelry inside.  Well, here is one that I personally was sent for this review and my sample of the fragrance "Love Potion" was pretty nice.  And before you ask, No, I did not get a valuable piece of jewelry inside, but I did get a pretty pair of earrings, that unfortunately neither my daughter nor I can wear since we

have sensitive ears.  But the candle wax melts do smell nice.



CandlePizzaz.com has a nice selection of scents from fruity to sassy.  Something for almost everyone on the list.

I had also been sent a tiny sample size of the "chocolate fudge" scent - no jewelry inside but unfortunately it arrived smashed and unusable.  I also did not care for the scent inside the package, though it may have smelled better when burning but I was not able to do that.





As for my honest opinion, I believe that since they went out of their way to help me make a good review by  sending a full-sized product I would try them by purchasing a full size candle to see what I think.

My Review:

I like the idea of the dispenser for the tub and shower.  Having a more convenient place to put shampoo, conditioner and soap where it is handy and easy to find, without taking up precious space on the tub is a wonderful idea.  Personally though, I found this to be a bit too big for my liking.  I would prefer it to be a bit smaller in depth and taller so it does not stick out so far in my small shower space.  For a full-size or larger shower, It would most likely be fine, but it is not the best size for smaller spaces.  Other than that, It does work great.  Is easy to fill and clean and helps de-clutter the shelves and corners of tubs and showers.  Overall a great idea, but I personally would love it to be more space-friendly.
