Review:

As stated in the description, this Sports Armband works great for my husband when he is running.  His only issue with it is that it fits his iPhone 5 VERY snug and makes it a little difficult to get in and out.  Though he assures me that he would prefer it to be snug than loose, it needs just a tiny bit more room for him to be perfectly satisfied with this particular product.



It fits comfortably on his upper arm, plenty of room for larger or smaller arm size, stays in place while moving, and has a pocket on the back for any money, ID, or credit card he might want to carry on him.  He loves being able to have his phone along, listen to music or a book while running and not have the extra weight of a backpack or waist pack to carry it in.



Overall we find this to be a great product for those on the go who want a safe and secure place for iPhone (or iPod) and some extra room for ID, cash etc.  The price at only $7.99 on Amazon is also a big plus!

Review:

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the recipes in Straight Up Tasty by Adam Richman are not all filled with strange ingredients and unheard of, or unlikable ingredients.  Although there are some recipes that I would not try or use all listed ingredients, there are a few that sound and look yummy enough even for my family's picky appetites.  



A few that really caught my interest are:

* Pg 28 ~ Tortilla Soup with Guacamole Wantons (not something I would have thought of making myself but sounds and looks very tasty!)

* Pg 35 ~ Creamy Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Sandwich Dumplings (my girls thought this sounded and looked good!)

* Pg 87 ~ Grilled Shrimp Tacos with Honeydew Sriracha Salsa (now this one I would change up a bit - the tacos are great but not so much the salsa - so I would alter the recipe a bit)

* Pg 151 ~ Spaghetti Pie (now this is funny - I actually already make a version of this that my family loves - must have stolen MY recipe - LOL)



Now, I must say that compared to other cookbooks I have reviewed this one has a photo for at least 75% of the recipes.  That is a huge plus for me.  I like to see what the dish is meant to look like as well as have the recipe on hand.  I am personally not a fan of a cookbook or recipe without a photo, so this book does cover that qualification for me.  I also expect to have recipes that are realistic for the average American family - not include half of the ingredients that must be found in specialty food stores.  Overall I like this cookbook and will be fixing a few of the recipes within it for myself and my family.

Review:

A wonderful product that is strong and does the job it is intended to do.  Works well sitting down without having to lean over much.  Has a strong horn that slips easily into the back of shoes and

boots, as my son used it for, and makes putting them on so much easier.



My son uses shoehorns to put his shoes and boots on so they go on quicker and easier than trying to wrestle with his shoes/boots every morning before school or activities.  He loves this shoehorn and said that so far it works better than any others he has tried.  His only complaint (and mine too) is that since the whole thing is metal, it does dig into his hands when he grips hard.



Otherwise a great product for a wide range of users - from daily help with shoes/boots to those with arthritis or difficulty bending over.

Review:

I was offered this product free in exchange for my honest review. And well, quite honestly I wasn't sure about this product when I first started using it. I have never used enhancers of any sort before, and I do tend to be sensitive to some chemicals and tropical plants that are often used in cosmetics and lotions, so I was a bit leary at first.



After the first few tries, I was going to stop using it.  I applied it only on my left eyelash line according to the directions. The first couple of times my eyelid felt a bit irritated - a slight burning sensation for a while but eventually went away.  After a week of trying it one time each morning, I did a close up look at my eyelashes, and my left eye lashes look a little fuller than the right ones.



Now it is not a huge difference and one that most people would not notice but I believe with continued use it may get more noticable.  I have now started using it on both eyelash lines and will continue to see if it gives a more dramatic change in the near future.



I do recommend giving the eyelash serum a try if you are not sensitive to chemicals in make ups and such, but if you have any type of sensitivity I would not recommend this product. The company has a 6 month money back guarantee, which makes it much better for trying products!

Although I can see the benefit of meditation CDs for children and families, I personally did not care for this.  I listened to it with my 7 yr old daughter and neither of us could relax because the voice on the CD was annoying to both of us.  Now, I honestly try to give every product a chance regardless of my personal likes and dislikes so here is a list of positives and negatives I have come up with.



Positives:

Good for mediation/yoga

Soft and relaxing background music

If you can visualize, then the ocean meditation is expressive

Great for young children



Negatives:

Stilted words are annoying (soft and constant flow would be better IMO)

Single "song" repetitive (would prefer different music)

Long Drawn Out (took more than 40 seconds to go from "I'm going to count down from 10" to actually beginning the count)

Too much narration



Overall I can see the benefits for those who like meditation CDs, and like some of the imagery in the CD but it just wasn't right for me or my family.
