Product Review:

For Mommy ~ The Good: 

The best part of the carrier is the lumbar support. After using other brands of baby Carriers such as Baby Bjorn and a Boba Wrap, I feel that the Lille provided twice as much support to my lower
back compared to other brands. As someone who has struggled with back problems on and off, I would HIGHLY
recommend this product to a mom who wants to "baby wear" but is afraid it will
be to

taxing on her back.

Also, I like that this carrier can go up to 45lbs. I
intend to baby wear for sometime, and this carrier would last much longer than
the Bjorn or Boba in that department.  In this way I can continue to carry baby up through early toddler years and still have the comfort and support that I have now with my little one. 

For Mommy ~ The Bad:

It took me a LONG time figure out how to
comfortably wear this carrier. There are many adjustable straps - which I assume
would be helpful as baby grows - but initially it took a lot of adjusting and
readjusting to make it comfortable for me and for the baby. After 4 tries I
started to feel comfortable sitting this on by myself, but before then I needed
help as the carrier hooks in the back by your neck and it was tricky at first.
Also, it took a bit of time to adjust the seat width setting - and it is
essential for you to do this in order for your baby not to be miserable. The
Bjorn and Boba are heads and shoulders above LILLE in terms of simplicity of
design and user friendliness. I still have not figured out the Side position,
and I don't have enough guts to try the back-pack position. But I have no doubt
that with enough practice these too could prove comfortable for mom and
baby.

For Baby ~ The Good and the Bad: 

Once all the adjustments were made my baby seemed
pretty comfortable. Baby sat forward facing comfortably and also really seemed
comfortable facing in. In terms of comfort I would say the Lille is pretty good.
If you are carrying your baby for long stretches of time I would recommend this
over the Boba or Bjorn. I think it is more comfortable for both baby and mommy.
Also the fabric is fairly breathable which helped for Baby not to get too warm
while in the carrier, which can be a problem with the Boba.

Overall opinion:

I would say that overall, the LÍLLÉbaby COMPLETE baby carrier is heads and tails above the rest.  For quality, comfort, and length of use (can continue as baby grows) it would be my first choice of carrier.  For ease of use, it takes quite a bit of practice and figuring out before I felt comfortable doing it on my own.  A great product and one that I highly recommend to anyone wanting to baby wear!

{Review & Giveaway} Keep your feet dry and blister free with Fuego Athletic Socks #FuegoSocks #AthleticBlackSocks

Review:

My husband started running a little over a year ago.  Since then he has lost a considerable amount of weight and feels and looks healthier than he has ever been.  Unfortunately with running, he often sweats a LOT and complains of foot pain. 



When I was offered a chance to review the new athletic socks for men and women from Fuego, I thought it was the perfect chance for him to try something that might help with his running issues.



The Fuego Athletic Socks are made to be unisex so that men and women can wear them.  They contour to the wearer's feet and have "silver content" within that keeps the feet dry.  My husband said that at first they were a bit too loose (he likes his socks very snug) but

after a few washings, they fit him "just right" and now he absolutely loves them.  



While running outside, he mentioned that they kept his feet dry and felt good while running.  He said they are better than any other socks he has tried.  We have the white pair and the black pair and they both are great.



Another thing he likes is that they stay in place.  Often socks will slip down as he is moving, but these do not.  The elastic in the ankle keeps the socks from slipping.



As for sizing, the Fuego Athletic socks have a size chart that I feel is true to size.  If you like your socks snug, order the correct size and wash them a couple times before wearing.  If you prefer them loose, I would suggest either correct size or possibly the next size up. 



Overall, the Fuego Athletic socks are good quality athletic socks and I feel they are a great buy for those looking for a special sock for athletics, running/walking/biking, daily exercise or any time.  Just make sure you check the fit and realize these are not basic socks but specialty ones geared for athletic use.

{Review & GIVEAWAY} Apologetics Study Bible for Students HCSB Plus Contests, Videos and MORE!

As a Christian Mom of three growing kids, I often find myself praying that not only with all of my children have a strong faith of their own as they grow, but that they will take the moral and biblical values that we as parents have tried to teach them, into the world with them.



My son will be 14 this week, he is in 8th grade and from a young age (2nd grade) has had all manner of worldly influence from his peers come at him that has at times been difficult for him to overcome on his own.  



I have researched different types of Bibles and Study Guides to find resources that will help me teach him the necessity of keeping in touch with God, growing in his Faith and choosing to do what is right, good, honest and pure in a world filled with bad choices and peer pressure.



The Apologetics Study Bible for Students is a wonderful resource for him to use from now through College years and even beyond to help guide him as he grows physically, mentally and spiritually.

  He and I have both enjoyed reading the personal stories included in this indexed Bible. "Danny's Struggle" (page 777)  was one that he and I read together and were able to have a great conversation about what the Bible says and how to research for himself any questions he might have.



The video series that is also available featuring Sean McDowel have been an amazing way for he and I (and his father too) to spend time together watching then discussing what he learns or "gets" from the video series.



I personally love that as a High School Student my grandmother got me a book series by Josh McDowel that I still remember lessons from to this day.  Now my son gets the same type of benefit from the McDowel family with the video series by Sean McDowel.  I have loved sharing that I feel I am passing on my experience to my son and we are able to connect in a unique way through this resource material.  We plan to continue the series and hopefully will be able to share it with my daughters soon as well.
