TODAY ONLY select K'NEX sets are 50% off or more!

Hurry, these deals won't last! Click
to shop now!
www.gma-knex.com.

Here is what my family thinks about K'NEX toys . . .

As a product reviewer for K'NEX toys, I have found my inner child jumps for joy when the doorbell rings and it is a new box of K'NEX toys to play with review.  Putting together fun and sometimes fantastical gadges, vehicles and made up thing-a-ma-doodles with my kids is something that is both fun and special to

me.  Spending time deciding on a design, figuring out which pieces to connect where and whether or not the final product looks like we planned is an activity my kids and I all enjoy.  Here are some of the sets we have been enjoying . .

What fun to use our imaginations to create something fun out of little pieces of K'NEX - personally I had lincoln logs and tinker toys as a kid and loved them - K'NEX are way more fun that those ever were!  So, what will YOU be creating this Holiday Season?  Our next idea is to make a Christmas Tree out of K'NEX!

Need more K'NEX to play with?  Need a great gift for someone this Christmas?  Make sure to take advantage of today's special DEAL and get some of these sets of HALF OFF!  Remember, the deal is only good for TODAY - DEC 11th!

My Review:

What a wonderful invention - finally someone came up with a fun and fanciful way to utilize stuffed animals to make kiddos smile while still having my hands free to use the camera!  My only complaint? - well, the adorable monkey covers my pop-up camera flash so I can only use it in bright light areas.  No low light or situations that require a flash because Chimpy (yep we named her) covers up my flash and the photos didn't turn out well.

Otherwise - Chimpy is adorable and she had a light up feature too.  Pressing her paw turns on flashing lights in all her paws and her ears.  It is cute but not necessary for my kids.  Just a fun feature for the older ones but an attention getter for younger children!

I can definitely see this cute camera toy being used by parents and up and coming photographers to aid in getting the attention of younger children for photo shoots and everyday photo fun.  I found this to be a great idea, and something that I believe is great for mostly outdoor photos or well-lit areas not requiring a flash.

{Review & Giveaway} STRIDER bike ~ Balance bike, training bike the no-pedal way to learn confidence in riding!

STRIDER™ balance bikes are industry-leading training bikes that help
children as young as 18 months learn to ride on two wheels. STRIDER
balance bikes focus on the fundamentals of balancing, leaning, and
steering without the distractions and complications of pedals or
training wheels.

The STRIDER’s simple, no-pedal design builds confidence and
eliminates fear by allowing kids to have their

feet on the ground and
progress at their own pace. This unique design teaches young children
balance on two wheels right from the start, avoiding developmental
delays typical with tricycles and training-wheel bikes.

Genuine STRIDER balance bikes are the lightest balance bikes in
their category, have the lowest seat height (for the youngest starting
age), and are tested to the most stringent safety standards.
Frame-integrated footrests, proprietary components, and the ability to
easily adjust to a growing child, make the STRIDER the only bike your
child needs to develop their riding skills and successfully transfer
onto their first pedal bike without training wheels.

Review:

My youngest has been scared of riding her big kid bike without training wheels, but is more than old enough to learn.  When I received the STRIDER bike for review - they thankfully sent an additional seat with a longer/taller adjustment for her to use since she was 5 when she first started riding her STRIDER.  After just a few weeks of riding around in our driveway and down our street on the STRIDER, she asked if I would help her ride her big kid bike.  She started pedalling within just a few moments of my help and now rides like a pro!

It only took her one afternoon of practice and she was off down the street on her own.  All it took was a little time on the STRIDER learning to balance, and get the confidence she needed!  I love this STRIDER bike and highly recommend it for all young ones to start riding on.  I wish we had used one much sooner as I honestly believe she would have been riding a pedal bike much sooner if she had first learned on a STRIDER instead of training wheels!

  • STRIDER bikes are ultra light weight and easy to control.

  • STRIDER bikes increase balance, coordination, and confidence.

  • STRIDER bikes allow children to focus on learning balance first.

  • STRIDER bikes are free of chains, pedals, and protrusions that can harm a child.

  • STRIDER bikes provides a safe, smooth, and natural transition to a pedal bike.

Now, she has just today moved up a size of bike and is tearing up the neighborhood with her sister and friends and has even asked when our family can all go on bike rides together.  I now have a hard time keeping her home, she is always off on her bike somewhere - Thanks STRIDER!

{Review & Giveaway} TuTu & DiDi Interactive Plush Toys ~ Powered by iPad, iPad mini, iPod Touch or iPhone ~ ends 5/21

 photo 04511dde-2f6b-49ba-9405-77118bddb71f_zps299627b9.png

1
winner will receive:

one DiDi iPad-powered bear + Magic Toys

 and one TuTu
iPod/iPhone-powered bunny + Magic Toys

*Please note that
we provide the plush DiDi and TuTu toys and their free iTunes applications, but
do NOT provide the iPad or iPod/iPhone*

Now, about TuTu and Didi

TuTu is a soft, plush toy enhanced with our powerful software and Magic Touch™ add-on toys that kids use to feed Tutu, brush her teeth, give her milk and play games.

Watch a video on TuTu here and share her on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest below.

TuTu comes with:

  • TuTu plush doll

  • Magic Touch™ apple, carrot, milk, toothbrush and ring

  • App with registration code

DiDi is an iPad powered toy for kids preparing for elementary school. We think you'll love DiDi because:

  1. Feel Good About Playtime - DiDi’s games and storybooks are fun, yet educational.

  2. Real Toy, Real Play - Unlike an app,
kids can bond with DiDi because he is a soft teddy bear they can hold
and feed with our proprietary accessory toys.

  3. Tamagotchi Experience - Care for DiDi to earn prizes and unlock new games and books.

Every DiDi comes with a DiDi plush toy, 5 Magic Touch™ toys, and a copy of the DiDi app to run his games and books.

Do you kiddos like to play on your iPhone? iPod touch or iPad?  Do you always know what games or apps they are interacting with?  What if you could turn your device into a fun and unique toddler/preschool friendly playmate?  At the same time, protecting your device in a cuddly friend?

Well, here is your chance to try it out.  Roam and Wander have created these adorable interactive cuddly friends for little ones to love.  TuTu is an adorable pink plush rabbit that children can feed, care for and love.  She is powered using an iPhone or iPod touch - with the TuTu app (free with TuTu) downloaded.

DiDi is a cuddly teddy bear that uses an iPad or iPad mini with app (free with DiDi) to make a fun interactive friend that most children will absolutely love!  My 6 year old daughter is constantly playing with TuTu (she also plays with DiDi but I don't leave my iPad mini inside DiDi).  She loves to be able to give her a drink of milk, feed her and brush her teeth.  I have tried several times to find TuTu and DiDi to test them out for this review/giveaway only to find her hiding in her room with them!  She really loves them!

My only issue is that since these adorable toys/apps are still new, there are not many games/books yet for DiDi - but with the Kickstarter Campaign - it will have many more features coming soon - so once you have DiDi and TuTu - any updates will add new and exciting games, books and more!

TuTu and DiDi are great for back to school, holiday gifts, birthdays or traveling!  TuTu retails for only $39.99 and DiDi will retail for $59.99 - BUT right now - with the DiDi Kickstarter campaign - you can purchase TuTu and DiDi for a HUGE discount! But hurry - the Kickstarter ends on May 21st and they will both go back to full price!

Piczzle This - A Custom Photo Puzzle of my Kiddos - fun for all! Review and GIVEAWAY

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Piczzle Picture Puzzle service is an online store that provides Custom Made Jigsaw Photo Puzzles.

They provide some of the best custom jigsaw puzzles I've personally found by allowing the customer to create a
fun, dynamic and an interactive option to capture
precious life’s moments through a photo puzzle game – for themselves and
for the ones they love.

Piczzle's Cardboard Puzzles are made of quality materials and
craftsmanship.  The print quality is amazing.

These Piczzle Picture Puzzles are

constructed of a
premium grade cardboard that has been laminated with a glossy finish and are printed using an advanced
digital printing technique that results in sharp, multicolored prints.

My Review:

When I was offered the chance to review a Piczzle Puzzle - I knew immediately which photo I wanted to use.  My family had a photo session this past spring, and the picture of my three kids together is one I absolutely love.  To have it immortalized in puzzle form sounded like the perfect way to have my kids enjoy putting puzzles together.  How much fun is it to put your own face together in a puzzle?

I decided to try out taking a video of my youngest putting this puzzle together step by step to see how it would turn out.  What do you think?

Step One - get all the puzzle pieces out and start putting together the frame . . .

Step Two - finish the frame and start on the inside

Step Three - finish the puzzle and don't forget to finish your brother's and sister's faces too!

My youngest and I have put this puzzle together several times, and recently when Grandma and Grandpa were over to babysit - the first thing she did was grab this puzzle and ask Grandma to help her put it together.  She says this is her Favorite Puzzle!  Piczzle Puzzles are great for families, kids, grandparents, bridal gifts, baby shower gifts and so much more!  Such fun - check them out.

Around the World for Christmas - Mix Educational Learning with Fun and Game Excitement - Review

Free Shipping! (USA)

Fun Games For Global Education

Curious
about getting better connected to people of the world? Now you can!
Around the World is a company that travels around the world and develops
interactive products that bring the global experience to you. Their
mission is to offer resources that get people of all ages better
connected to the world around them. Their products meet the needs of many a
diversified market, including classrooms, diversity and literacy
programs, cafes, universities, museums, as well as businesses looking
for other ways of understanding cultural diversity among their global
markets.

Their fun games are about spreading global education and connecting people in this diverse world. The award-winning Around the World Board Game
takes players on a travel adventure while

educating them about people,
places, language, culture, customs, world wonders, and world geography. The Trivia Collector Card Packs are designed to be
played along with our board game or on their own. The card packs include
over 200 fun, trivia questions on every region of the world!

My children and I all love to play all kinds of games. We have an entire upstairs closet that has nothing but family board, card games and puzzles.  So, being offered the chance to review a family game is one that is perfect for us.

I love to find games that the whole family can play, so although my youngest is too young for nearly all the questions in this game, we still include her by having her help move the game pieces, hand the cards to other players and help give answers and hints so she can be included too.

As a Stay At Home Mom of Three busy and active kiddos in 3 different grades/learning stages, it is always great to find games that mix fun with education so that they can learn as they play. The Around the World board game helps make learning about geography, international cultures, language and the people and places in this world full of fun.  My
kids do enjoy playing this game, but soon get frustrated with the difficulty of some of the questions. My 12 year old son seems to know quite a bit more about geography and cultures, whereas my 9 year old is still learning - and of course my 5 year old doesn't know a whole lot yet, but is eager to play along anyway.

Around the World is a game with 200 educational trivia cards based on the themes of People
and Places, Geography and Language, and Culture and Customs that helps the players "travel" all over the world to learn

new and exciting things about different countries and cultures that they otherwise would not have a chance to visit.

Most of the questions are even too hard for this Mom, but the hints many times make guessing fun and easier.  And of course many times I add a few extra hints for when the kids area struggling to figure it out.  Overall the game is fun and educational and we all seem to remember different questions and answers from the game days later.

Around the World Games would make a great Christmas Gift for a family with children who are eager to learn while having fun playing too!

And, there are additional country and continent packs that can be purchased in addition to the main game set - check it out at http://www.aroundtheworldgames.com/

Save Money on inexpensive Gifts this Season with Ever Buying ~ Review & Giveaway

I was offered a chance to review some toy items from EverBuying.com  An Online retail shop that carries thousands of electronics, toys, games and gifts that are priced very inexpensive and ready to ship as soon as the buyer places the order.

I chose some items I thought would be fun for my kids to help review - each and every item was under $16 - with 2 of them being under $7!  What a deal -  now, are they worth the price?  This is what we determined:

Please be kind - lol  These pictures were taken when our power was out due to the Tornado that went through just a few miles from our home - so they are not the best pictures -

The first of the items I chose was this fun looking Shooting Game - It is made from thin plastic and when I first opened it, I did not expect it to last - I honestly thought it would break the first time we played with it. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only does it hold up but is a very fun, yet simple game to play.

We enjoy this game so much that we took it with us to our family get-together over Thanksgiving and my young  nieces (ages 3 and 20 most) both loved trying to get the balls into the hoops - this was a pleasant surprise and very inexpensive - at only $6.76.

Next comes the "Microscope Set" that I choose - it says ages 8 and up.  I expected with the inexpensive price that it would not be high quality but did expect it to be worth trying out.  I was wrong.  Although the microscope does move up and down, and has a mirror that can be used to reflect light to see - the rest of it is completely fake - the "tools" are all plastic fake tools and cannot be used at all, the slides and covers though the instructions show how to use them, do not work properly - this is made for a very young child to pretend with - it would be perfect for say a 5 year old who wants to pretend to be a scientist, but is not for an 8 or older child who really wants to learn how to use a microscope - a great deal for young children at only $17.49 - but not for real use or even for educational use.  Definitely not a good choice.

Then, I chose the ever Popular Character Dolls from Despicable Me 2 Movie - These are made from PVC - no idea what that means but my kids absolutely love them!  AND, they are only $12.99.  These fun character dolls are small enough to throw in my purse, or the kids' travel bags to take anywhere.  They can play pretend and use their imaginations wherever they go.  The only negative I have is one of the adorable little minions is missing an arm - poor little guy arrived without it so we just ignore that little imperfection. Otherwise the detail on each character is surprisingly good for such small toys and my kids have a lot of fun re-enacting parts of the first and second movies using these character toys.  A little over-priced in my personal opinion.  I would not personally purchase these at the current price.

And last, but certainly not least - for this review I also choose a put-together set that is like Legos.  It is of a space shuttle and came with wonderful step-by-step instructions.  My girls and I started putting this together during our power outage as a way to keep their minds off the scary dark, no power, tornado weather and a way to help them focus on something fun.  It turned out to be a great idea - before long,  my son jumped in with his advice - being a lego pro - we were able to get this adorable space ship put together in no time at all.

Not only was it fun to work on as a family, but when finished, it has a movable arm inside the space shuttle that delivers a satellite into space.  And, this set can also make a separate space station - though we did not have any instructions on how to make it, there is a picture on the box that looks like it would be fairly easy to create.  This was another good choice - at only $6.66 was a very nice choice - and would make a fun gift!

So, would it be worth it to purchase these myself?  I like the space shuttle, shooting game and Despicable Me 2 toys - and the prices overall are pretty good but I am not sure that I would personally purchase from this website.  There are too many unknowns - I leave it up to you to decide.  This review is only my personal opinion and not that of anyone else's.

you can enter below to WIN 1 of these toys I reviewed!
