To do this you detach the buckle from the belt and trim the desired amount off and then reattach the buckle (instructions here).



This belt micro-adjusts 1/4 an inch in either direction by simply flipping the lever on the bottom of the buckle (instructions here). If the lever seems to be stuck, relieve the pressure by pushing the belt into the buckle as though tightening it, then the lever will flip easier.

Kamik ~ Great Boots at Great Prices - Review on Mom Loves 2 Read - Holiday Gift Guide 2013

When I found the chance to work on a review of Kamik Boots - I was quite excited.  With a family of 5 purchasing new winter boots each year can be a daunting and often expensive task.  Finding not only boots that will Last all winter, but also be cute and fun to wear while holding up to the wear and tear of three rambunctious and active kiddos is one that I do not usually look forward to each Fall season.





With Kamik, all my dread was for nothing - When the HUGE box arrived with a pair of boots for each member of my family I was so excited - I just could not wait to open it and start trying them out - even in the 75 degree weather!  At Kamik you get fashionable style without losing the feeling in your toes.  Comfort, warmth, waterproof and adorable too!

My 9 year old daughter chose the Snowbank2 in aqua, My 5 year old chose these adorable Snowgypsy boots with the faux fur in fuchsia, for my 12 year old son, we received Greenbay4 in black, for my husband, a great pair of hunting boots ~ Snowcliff in Gaucho, and last but not least - for me - the Mom in the family ~ a fun pair of Encore in light grey.

These boots from Kamik are fun to wear, mostly comfortable, warm and waterproof.  My daughters were both so excited they wanted to wear theirs right away.  My youngest even wore hers to Kindergarten when it was still 65 degrees out because she said they were stylish and "matched" her outfit - lol

My boots are cute and mostly comfortable.  I am very picky about shoes and boots as my ankles are bony and many times boots rub those exposed areas and cause soreness and problems for me.  These boots from Kamik fit great and do not rub my usual spots - they are however a little uncomfortable in at the top of the back/above the heel area for me - but not so much that I can't walk in them - otherwise they keep my feet warm and dry and are great for walking my little one to school each afternoon.

The boots have a faux fur lining to keep the cold wind out of my boot and away from my feet - they are thick and warm and great for winter weather!

My husband wasn't sure he would like his boots the first time he put them one.  They were heavy and uncomfortable at first - until he wore them out hunting - after walking on uneven ground for hours, he told me they were Great boots and he is so glad I got them for him!  They kept his feet warm and dry and were much more comfortable than he thought they would be.  Great for Fall/Winter hunting, camping or shovelling snow in!

For this review, My son and I both received some new undies and comfy t-shirts and a pair of socks to try.  Of course being a family friendly site - I won't take pictures of us in our undies but will gladly let you know all about them!  For my son - we have Boxer undies in a cool shark print, a pair of fun striped socks and a black men's t-shirt . .

For me - I have a V-neck women's Tshirt, Fun and Flirty women's brief in Raspberry, and a pair of white socks to tie it all together.

Now, for the honest review - well the tshirts are so very comfortable, they are sort of form fitting, soft and lightweight, made of 100% cotton and very comfortable to wear anywhere - around the house or under another shirt to go out.



The undies - I absolutely LOVE these briefs - they are the MOST comfortable undies I have ever worn - no lie.  I have a variety of brands that I have tried over the years from several different stores (including that VS one) and these are definitely my favorites.  They are silky smooth, comfortable, soft and fitted and when I wore them under jeans I honestly forgot I was wearing undies yet felt so covered and comfortable.  It was a wonderful feeling.



The socks are thick and soft - with a stretchy portion in the middle to fit many different foot sizes.  Unfortunately I'm not fond of no-show style so I passed these on to my daughter and she loves them!



My son likes his boxers - they have a special additional fabric added to that all-important area for boys and men (keeping it G rated - lol)  They are very soft and comfortable to wear and he loves  how they feel when worn.  The Tshirt also is a big hit - he wears it as a night shirt and loves how soft it feels.  The socks are worn for church and he had two friends give him complements on how "cool" his socks are.



MeUndies is a new favorite in my home.  Hope you check them out too - they might become your new favorite as well!

My Review:

I haven't yet read Sherri's first book (I almost divorced my husband, but I went on Strike Instead) but
I am very familiar with her story of going on strike for eight days. Not only am I familiar with the story, I cheer Sherri for
taking a stand. After the success of that book, she wrote this book for the men.



I love the title - it is what first caught my attention and made me want to read it myself.  Marriage 101 for Men is really easy to read, which is great for men who don't
particularly like to read. It is full of fun truths about how men and
women relate to each other,communicate (or not), and how we can make our marriages better by
understanding why we as women appreciate a scrubbed toilet more than a
dozen roses.



Sherry mentions both Stay At Home Moms and Working Moms in regards to working out our issues with our husbands' expectations.  Many men do not realize just how much "work" there really is in managing home, children, work, and so much more each day.  Although this book is written for the Men, I highly recommend each woman read it as well.  I really enjoyed reading this book and even asked my husband to read it and tell me his thoughts on it.  He agrees with some of what Sherri has to say but not all of it (of course).  He and I discussed coming up with our own version of a work/chore list for each member of our family and plan to implement it before school resumes in August.



Now a message for the Men:  If you want your wife to be "in the mood" more often, try asking her what you can do to help her around the house or with the kids each day - then DO IT!  You could even try going out on your own to "offer" to clean bathrooms, kitchen, take care of family dinner, or kids' bedtime and see how she reacts! For more great ideas, try reading this book. There are many great tips in here (not just taking out the trash).  You might be surprised how delighted she will be with a little of your time and assistance - let her know how important she is to you, and to your kids!

Sherri Mills has been a hairdresser for over forty-five years. She has
had her own salon long enough to see life happen before her very eyes.
She has listened to real-life problems and followed real-life
outcomes—successes and failures—and through several generations, longer
and more extensively than marriage counselors can.
