As a member of BookBub, I find quite a few new ebooks to read mostly free.  Sometimes I find some that sound so good I pay the Great Deal of only $0.99 or $1.99 for a new book.  Here is one I found that I can't wait to read!  And yes, it is only $1.99!!  Or Free on KU!

My Review:

Send your kids on an adventure! The story is suitable as a read aloud book for preschoolers or a self-read book for beginner readers children. Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg is a fun children's picture book about a little boy with red hair and
freckles named Terry, yet everybody calls him Terry Treetop because he
loves climbing trees.  One day he finds an egg that is not in a next, but on the ground.



The story tells of his adventures while trying to find who the egg belongs to.  As Terry Treetop meets different animals in each of their habitats, children learn a bit more about some of their favorite animals and where they live.

This ebook is fun and full of colorful illustrations that bring the story to life on each and every page.  Although not well written for those who have English as a first language, the story is fun and one that some children will enjoy. Parents may have some issues with the, at times weird, rhyming and occasional tedious wording.  But otherwise the ebook was very well illustrated and would be best for very young children.  Written for pre-readers and beginner readers to enjoy, Terry Treetop and the Lost Egg will entertain little ones over and over with his fun adventures.

My Review:

When a barrel full of monkeys comes out to play, they have all kinds of adventures.  Monkey Fun is a wonderful story of how adventurous young monkeys can be.  This adorable story is full of funtastic illustrations and easy to read rhymes that keep young pre-readers and readers engaged from beginning to the very end.  It also includes some great monkey facts mixed in with monkey fun and frivolity.



Another favorite of my youngest - Lydia.  She absolutely loves author Julia Dweck's ebooks and repeatedly

asks to read them over and over on the Kindle or iPad.  Although her very favorite way to read them is sitting on my lap while we read it together on my Laptop.



I personally love how fun and unique this story is and how much it mixes some fun facts with funny, easy to remember rhymes.  I also enjoy being able to read these great ebooks on the go with my kids and even have entertained other little ones with similar ebooks on the go.  Ebooks make wonderful gifts, and Monkey Fun is a great addition to any ebook library!

Anabella Giggles All Day by Nev Nickelz - Review on Mom Loves 2 Read

My Review:

I always try to promote the positive aspects of any book or product that I review.  And for the positive of Anabella Giggles All Day, I can say that there is an underlying message that it is not nice to make fun of your friends that is a great moral for young children to learn.



Other than that, I really did not care for this book.  I found that it did not flow or rhyme well, the main focus of the story is about a little girl who laughs at her best friend for silly reasons which hurts and angers her friend.  Anabella seems like a mean little girl who can't stop laughing at dumb things and making her friend no longer want to be around her.  I don't like teasing or bullying and that is what it seemed that Anabella was doing throughout the whole story.



The two "friends" soon fight about Anabella's giggling, and then magically are friends again even though Anabella never apologizes for her mean actions.



The story itself does not make much sense - the rhymes really don't rhyme and there are words that make no sense to me - like a "Keddy Teddy" and something called "Rhompees" - I have no idea what they are and no explanation is given anywhere in the story.



I did not read this to my children and really would not recommend this to other parents either.  Sorry, but I feel this book need quite a bit more work to make it one that would be fun to read by parents and children.

I must say this is the most disappointing review I've had to write for a very long time.
