Modesty versus Popular for Girls' Swimsuits

I found this great article on a fellow Mom Blogger's site.  I have personally been struggling with what is appropriate for my girls to wear for swimming versus what their "friends" and peers are wearing.  Here is a great article that talks about God's plan and how to explain modesty to my preteen and younger girl...

Here are a couple pictures of our Mother/Daughter compromise - we are both very happy with the styles!

      

Overall although the choices were hard to make, my daughters and I had fun shopping, trying on clothes and having a "fashion show" in the dressing rooms and talking about modesty and how to handle peer pressure from other kids.
