My Review:
This book is one of those novellas that I love to have around for quick and fun reads. Especially when I don't have as much time to sit through a full length novel as a busy mom and blogger. When I saw that author Mary Connealy has written one of the stories I had to read this book! I knew it would be a great read and I was not disappointed. All four authors have written many wonderful christian fiction books and these just add to this book lover's collection perfectly.
Ad five ministers sit around a campfire in the old west sharing stories, the youngest minister mentions how he told his love that they could not marry because she wasn't "minister's wife material." This leads to the other four laughing and sharing stories of unlikely couples. Each and every story is well-written and captures the reader's interest from the first page to the last. The characters in the stories are all engaging, and likeable. The women are independent, strong willed and determined to conquer their man.
I have read books by every author in this novella and love their writing styles, humor and characters. This is a highly recommended book for any clean and christian fiction lover's library!
